My Story

Māpua. Danielle Martel, CEO of Keetrax, a prominent digital marketing agency based in Māpua Village, is excited to unveil her latest creative venture: miniature lino prints available in a vending machine on Aranui Road called Print Pockets.

Inspired by interactions with other local entrepreneurs through her involvement as Vice Chair of the Māpua & District Business Association, Martel found a unique way to blend her passion for art with community engagement. “I love learning about what entrepreneurs sell and hearing their stories,” she shared. “I wanted to encapsulate these stories into tiny, affordable lino prints.”

What sets these mini lino prints apart is not just their artistic value but also their accessibility. Martel remarked, “These print pockets are not only interactive art pieces that engage people with the vending machine, but they also allow individuals to take home a piece of artwork that I’ve invested considerable time in creating – all for just $2.”

Martel has committed to donating 100% of the proceeds from her print sales to support a cause close to her heart – the Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter Trust. Reflecting on her experience working with the Trust, she expressed, “Last year, I had the opportunity to understand the vital need for their services. It’s not just extreme hikers; it’s everyday people in dire situations.”

Martel views this initiative as a fun and rewarding means for people to support a crucial cause. “It’s a way for everyone to get involved and receive something special in return for supporting an amazing cause that might one day assist a loved one,” she added.

Residents and visitors to Māpua are encouraged to visit the vending machine located outside 55 Aranui Road at Māpua41South Accomodation to experience these unique mini lino prints firsthand. Martel invites everyone to join her in supporting the Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter Trust while enjoying affordable, pocket-sized artworks.
